The Black Keys’ “Brothers” Now on NPR’s First Listen; Band to Play Intimate Show at NYC’s Housing Works Bookstore Cafe

The Black Keys‘ new album, Brothers, is due out May 18 from Nonesuch Records. That’s just eight days from now, but we know how long eight days can feel when you’re waiting for something like this. The good folks at NPR have made the wait a whole lot easier: they’re streaming the complete record, all 15 tracks, from now to release day for an Exclusive First Listen.

“There’s no shortage of bluesy rock records,” says NPR’s Bob Boilen, “and I sure didn’t think I needed to rush out and hear another one—that is, until I heard The Black Keys’ new album, Brothers. Packed with great songs and devoid of throwaways, Brothers is the sixth album by the duo of singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney.”
